Thank you Bader

Through his donation of Herstmonceux castle, Bader shaped my life in ways I couldn't have imagined. The first year castle program is what pushed me to choose Queen's over other institutions, and I'm very happy with my decision. The BISC is a unique and gorgeous setting in which to grow as a university student. The close-knit environment that it provides is truly wonderful, and allows for a level of connection with profs and students that I believe is hard to achieve elsewhere. The castle's location in England also provides amazing opportunities for travel and experiential learning, and helps students to gain more global perspectives. I'm so grateful that I got to spend a year at the castle learning about myself, scholarly subjects, English culture, and the world.
